Emily graduated with a degree in Music & Media from Sussex University and went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff.
Opera credits include Mascha (cover) in Queen of Spades (Grange Park Opera), First Boy in Die Zauberflöte (Longborough), Nenella in I Gioelli della Madonna (Opera Holland Park), Julia Bertram (Mansfield Park), Flora (The Turn of the Screw), Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Barbarina (The Marriage of Figaro), Bastienne (Bastien & Bastienne) as well as appearances at BYO, Opéra de Baugé, The Arcola Theatre, Tête a Tête & Sounds New Contemporary Festivals.
Emily is a member of Opera Erratica’s Core Company and regularly devises & performs work that explores the relationship between opera & movement. During the summer of 2014, she studied ‘the body and movement in devising’ in Berlin with LISPA. Recent and forthcoming projects include David Lang’s Little Match Girl Passion (Opera Erratica) in Hackney, and R&D showcases at the Eden Studios in Berlin, National Theatre Young Studio, and the Bussey Building in Peckham.
