After 13 years of training as a concert pianist, Gail decided to change her career path, relocate to Scotland and gain a degree in Event Management. There, her career as a producer started with four brilliant years at Scottish Opera, followed by her time with two beautiful organisations, The Sixteen and Spitalfields Music. In those years, she has worked on a wide variety of very special opera outreach projects and, just like any producer who goes above and beyond, did not miss a chance to jump in the roles of company, deputy and assistant stage manager, assistant director, sound technician, workshop leader, baby catcher, librarian, caterer, and, most importantly, human sat-nav. Needless to say, she loves a challenge.
Gail joined Pop-Up Opera in May 2018, and she is extremely excited about the potential of her role, as bringing opera to the most unusual places and audiences is a huge passion of hers.
