London Museum of Water & Steam
Performing amongst the steam engines of this Victorian waterworks - fondly known as 'the heart of the city' - this totally unique venue will play host to a very unusual opera experience indeed! With high ceilings, steam engines galore and a garden to have a pre-show drink in, what better place to experience Pop-up Opera's beautiful production of Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi.
Tickets are £25 for adults and £20 for concessions (under 18s and students with valid ID) in the ground floor seated area, or £17.50 for standing in the gallery area (accessed by a flight of stairs only).
For only £5 extra you can make a full evening by having a pre-show meal in the Museum's cafe/bar of hearty sausages & mash (vegetarian option available), served from 6.30pm.
Tickets available from Water & Steam museum online, in person at the Museum, or by phone on 0208 568 4757
A cash-bar will also be available for pre-show drinks from 7.30pm and during the interval - with the opportunity to walk around the museum's largest steam engines and gardens, before taking your seats for an 8pm performance start.
Doors at 7.30pm (unless eating, which is from 6.30pm) with performance start at 8pm.
All proceeds go to the Museum's charitable fund.
