London Museum of Water and Steam - Kew Bridge

After sell-out success in Spring and Summer 2016, we are thrilled to be returning to this unique London venue, performing amongst the steam engines of this Victorian waterworks! With high ceilings, steam engines galore and a garden to have a pre-show drink in, what better place to experience a spot of opera this Summer?

Join us here on Thursday 25th May at 7:30pm.

Tickets are £25 for adults and £20 for concessions (under 18s and students with valid ID) in the ground floor seated area, or £17.50 for standing/restricted view seating options in the gallery area (accessed by a flight of stairs only).

For only £8.50 extra you can make a full evening by having a pre-show meal in the Museum's cafe/bar of hearty sausages & mash (vegetarian option available), served from 6pm.

Tickets available from Water and Steam Website or by calling the Museum on 020 8568 4757

A cash-bar will also be available for pre-show drinks from 7pm and during the interval - with the opportunity to walk around the museum's largest steam engines and gardens, before taking your seats for an 7.30pm performance start.

Doors at 7pm (unless eating, which is from 6pm) with performance start at 7.30pm.

All proceeds go to the Museum's charitable fund.

Running Time:
2 hours 15 mins (includes 20-min interval)

"it’s also no wonder that the cast and crew seemed so full of pride at their humble creation; it really was quite gorgeous and a giggle to behold."

Venue Information

Venue Description:
The London Museum of Water and Steam is housed in the old Kew Bridge Waterworks and has one of the largest collections of working Victorian steam engines in the world. The Waterworks was responsible for providing the capital with safe drinking water for over a century following the cholera epidemic. Today the Museum is a not-for-profit charity whose mission is to tell the story of London’s water supply and to maintain the engines of the industrial revolution for generations to come.

In a room full of steam engines, this usual space plays for a unique experience for our opera audiences!
