Venue Information

Venue Description:
The iconic Minack theatre is commonly misconceived as having been carved into the cliffside by wandering Greeks! In fact, the Minack (meaning “rocky place” in Cornish) came to be on the breath-taking Cornish coastline because of one determined woman, Rowena Cade. From 1931 until she died in 1983 this unique theatre was planned, built and financed by her.
